Zelensky hopes Germany, France will support Ukraine at Normandy Four summit
He stated this live on the talk show "Freedom of Speech of Savik Shuster" on Friday, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
"I very much want to believe that both Germany and France will support us, and if something goes wrong, then I will do all I can to make them stand on our side," Zelensky said, adding that he believes Europe will support Ukraine, "because we're right."
At the same time, he recalled that he plans to speak in Paris about a specific number of prisoners and specific dates for a prisoner swap.
In addition, commenting on the ceasefire, Zelensky said he wanted to understand who would be responsible for that.
"I want to come back with concrete things, with concrete results," he said.
He also added that the country has a "very strong position."
"I want to bring from the Normandy [summit] an understanding and feeling that everyone really wants to gradually end this tragic war. I will be able to understand it precisely at the table," the president added.
The Normandy Format summit is to be held in Paris on December 9.
