Ukraine expects that the upcoming Normandy Four summit will resolve the issue of release of all Ukrainian hostages and help establish a lasting peace.
Foreign Minister of Ukraine Vadym Prystaiko stated this at the 26th meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council on Thursday in Bratislava, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
"The Normandy Four summit is scheduled for Monday, December 9. We are cautiously optimistic and convinced that the outcome of the summit should include a lasting peace and a stable ceasefire, and at least a release of all detainees and political prisoners," he said.
A meeting of the leaders of the Normandy Four countries – Ukraine, France, Germany, and Russian is to be held in Paris on December 9.
