Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk has stated that the Cabinet of Ministers has additionally allocated UAH 900 million to ensure the delivery of pensions in 2020, the Government portal reports.

“Tariffs for pension delivery have not been changed for 15 years. Today, they do not cover even the direct organizational costs of Ukrposhta. Last year alone, company losses caused by the pension delivery amounted to UAH 1.5 billion and UAH 1.2 billion in 2018. This situation threatens the delivery of pensions by Ukrposhta from January 1, 2020. The Government has settled this situation. We set delivery tariffs adequate to today's realities and allocated an additional sum totaling UAH 900 million for the next year. Pensions will be delivered to every pensioner next year,” said Honcharuk.

The prime minister added that this decision is especially important for residents of small towns and remote areas of Ukraine, where mobile post offices of Ukrposhta operate.
