The relevant agreement was reached during a working visit of Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Dmytro Kuleba to the Republic of Croatia, the Government portal reported.

“Ukraine and Croatia have agreed that Ukraine will be an important item on the agenda of Croatia's presidency of the Council of the European Union,” the statement reads.

In addition, according to Kuleba, Prime Minister of Croatia Andrej Plenković accepted the invitation from Volodymyr Zelensky to visit Ukraine during Croatia's EU Presidency.

It was also agreed that Croatia will finance the treatment of another group of Ukrainian military by the end of this year.

The deputy prime minister noted that Ukraine is very interested in the experience of Croatia's European integration. “We will be grateful for the exchange of experience, in particular, regarding the reform and adaptation of national legislation to EU standards, negotiations with the EU, access to EU funds, organization of European integration within the country,” Kuleba said.

The deputy prime minister also called on the prime minister and minister for foreign affairs of Croatia to support Ukraine’s intent to join the Three Seas Initiative, which is of mutual interest to our state and the EU countries.
