OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Lajčák to visit Stanytsia Luhanska
"On November 28-29, the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, Miroslav Lajčák, will be on a working visit to Ukraine," the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine reports.
The purpose of his visit is to summarize the results of the Slovak Chairmanship of the OSCE in 2019 and to coordinate positions that are important for maintaining the key attention of the OSCE as a regional security organization to the challenges posed by Russia's ongoing aggression against Ukraine.
There are will be an exchange of views on preparations for the meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council scheduled for December 5-6 in Bratislava.
The program of the visit, among other things, provides for a joint trip by the foreign ministers of Ukraine and the Slovak Republic to Stanytsia Luhanska (government-controlled, 16km north-east of Luhansk).
The parties also intend to discuss key issues on the agenda of Ukrainian-Slovak relations.
