Ukraine and the European Union will hold a meeting of the EU-Ukraine Association Committee in Brussels on November 18-19 to discuss all aspects of trade and possible changes to the Association Agreement.

Ukraine's Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture and Ukraine's Trade Representative Taras Kachka said this at a conference "Trade Wars: The Art of Defense" in Kyiv on Thursday, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"On November 18-19, in Brussels, we will hold a meeting of the EU-Ukraine Association Committee in the trade composition. All aspects of trade [between Ukraine and the EU] will be discussed there," Kachka said.

When asked by journalists about a possible revision of quotas for Ukraine during that meeting, Kachka said that, in fact, no quota would stop exports to the EU.

"We sell more than these quotas envisage. The only problem is poultry meat and, perhaps, tomato paste, where there is a sensitive impact of the out-of-quota duty on export opportunities," he said.

Kachka declined to answer what points of the Association Agreement could be initiated by Ukraine for revision.

Ukraine and the EU signed the Association Agreement in 2014. In particular, the political part of the agreement was signed on March 21, 2014, and the economic part on June 27, 2014.

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the European Parliament ratified the Association Agreement synchronously on September 16, 2014.
