Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights Liudmyla Denisova has met with Ukraine's Ambassador to Germany Andriy Melnyk in Berlin to discuss the issue of occupied Crimea.

Denisova wrote this on her Facebook page on Wednesday, November 6.

"The working visit to Berlin began with a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Federal Republic of Germany Andriy Melnyk. During the meeting, we outlined the issues that will be raised during the panel discussion on the 5th anniversary of the illegal occupation of Crimea, which will take place in Berlin on November 6," she wrote.

In addition, the parties discussed the issues of general political nature and further cooperation in the field of human rights protection. “I’m sure that by joint efforts it will be possible to draw the attention of the international community to the problems of the temporarily occupied Crimea,” the commissioner noted.
