Vasyl Bodnar meets with leadership of Canada’s National Defence Department

Ukrainian Deputy Foreign Minister Vasyl Bodnar discussed the situation in Donbas with the leadership of Canada’s Department of National Defence.
The Ukrainian Embassy in Canada wrote about this on Twitter.
“Ukrainian Deputy Foreign Minister Vasyl Bodnar met with Canadian Assistant Deputy Minister of Policy Peter Hammerschmidt. The parties discussed strengthening the Canadian-Ukrainian cooperation in security and defense sectors, the situation in Donbas, red lines and steps to achieve peace in the region,” the Embassy wrote.
The Embassy added that within his several-day visit to Canada, Vasul Bodnar had already held a number of bilateral meetings with the leadership of the country and would participate in the XXVI Triennial Congress of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress.
