Klitschko stated this, speaking from the rostrum of the Kyiv City Council, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Today we see that there is no quorum. Not everyone is ready to work. And so I ask the Parliament to dissolve the Kyiv City Council of the 8th convocation and appoint the early elections in Kyiv," Klitschko said.

As of 10:40, thirty-eight lawmakers registered in the Kyiv City Council hall, while 61 lawmakers are needed for the quorum.

According to the results of the consultations, all the chairpersons of factions agreed to continue the work of the Kyiv City Council on September 19.
