Czech prime minister plans to meet with Ukrainian president in NY

Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Andrej Babis has said he plans to hold a meeting with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in New York next week.

The head of the Czech government said this during a meeting with Czech President Milos Zeman in the castle of Lány on September 17, Radio Praha reports.

“Next week I’m going to attend the session of the UN General Assembly in New York instead of the president. I plan to meet with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky,” Babis said.

Earlier, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Czech Republic Yevhen Perebyinis expressed hope that Babis would visit Kyiv.
