Darka Olifer, the spokesperson for former Ukrainian president Leonid Kuchma, wrote this on her Facebook page on September 17.
“The parties discussed the implementation of the Minsk agreements. The agenda of the work of the Trilateral Contact Group was discussed in detail. The key issues for tomorrow’s meeting in Minsk will be security and release of detainees,” Olifer wrote.
According to her, Kuchma emphasized the priority of fulfilling the security part of the Minsk agreements, including a ceasefire, the withdrawal of Russian armed forces, and the restoration of Ukraine’s control over a temporarily uncontrolled section of the Ukrainian-Russian border.
