Riaboshapka appoints Chumak chief military prosecutor

Prosecutor General of Ukraine Ruslan Riaboshapka has appointed Viktor Chumak as Deputy Prosecutor General - Chief Military Prosecutor.

"Prosecutor General Ruslan Riaboshapka, guided by Article 9 of the Law of Ukraine "On the Prosecutor General's Office," on September 11, 2019 signed an order on the appointment of Viktor Chumak as Deputy Prosecutor General - Chief Military Prosecutor," the press service of the PGO reports.

On September 10, 2019, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a document confirming the candidacy of Chumak for appointment to this position.

On September 2, 2019, Riaboshapka signed an order on the dismissal of Chief Military Prosecutor of Ukraine Anatoliy Matios.
