These issues were discussed during the Ukrainian-Croatian political consultations at the level of deputy foreign ministers, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry’s press service reported.

Also, the need for keeping EU sanctions against Russia was noted.

In addition, the Croatian side reaffirmed its support for Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic and European integration course. In this regard, it was agreed to hold relevant negotiations on the priorities of Croatia's EU presidency in 2020 and to prepare the next Eastern Partnership summit.

Following the talks, a Consultation Plan between the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine and the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia for 2020-2021 was signed.
