Macron congratulates Zelensky on new Cabinet of Ministers

French President Emmanuel Macron had a phone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, the press service of the Elysee Palace has reported.
“Macron briefed Zelensky on his talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Fort de Brégançon and on the G7 summit,” the report says.
Ahead of the summit in the Normandy format that is expected to be held in September, Macron called on Zelensky to "make soonest progress in political and security measures necessary for resolving the conflict in eastern Ukraine."
In addition, Macron congratulated Zelensky on the approval of a new composition of the Cabinet of Ministers by the Verkhovna Rada. “The two presidents agreed to remain in close contact,” the Elysee Palace said.
