Volker assures new Ukrainian government of U.S. support

U.S. Special Representative for Ukraine Negotiations, Ambassador Kurt Volker has congratulated Ukraine on the appointment of new Cabinet of Ministers.
In a post on Twitter, he wrote: “Congratulations to Prime Minister [Oleksiy] Honcharuk, Foreign Minister [Vadym] Prystayko, and the entire Ukraine Cabinet!
He has also added that the United States stands with Ukraine in advancing reforms and seeking peace and the restoration of territorial integrity.
As Ukrinform reported, on August 29, 2019, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the ninth convocation appointed new Cabinet of Ministers. Oleksiy Honcharuk was elected as Prime Minister, and Vadym Prystayko became Foreign Minister.
