The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the ninth convocation has approved members and leaders of parliamentary factions, the head of the interim presidium of the Verkhovna Rada, Dmytro Razumkov, has stated.

Thus, there will be five factions in the Verkhovna Rada of the ninth convocation: "Servant of the People" (254 members), "Opposition Platform - For Life" (44 members), "Batkivshchyna" (25 members), "European Solidarity" (27 members) and "Voice" (17 members).

The Servant of the People faction elected David Arakhamia as its leader and Oleksandr Kornienko as his first deputy.

The Opposition Platform – For Life faction is co-chaired by Yuriy Boiko and Vadym Rabinovych.

The Batkivshchyna faction elected Yulia Tymoshenko its leader and Serhiy Sobolev her deputy.

The European Solidarity faction is co-chaired by Artur Herasymov and Iryna Gerashchenko.

The Voice faction elected Serhiy Rakhmanin its leader and Yaroslav Zhelezniak his deputy.

In addition, MPs elected in single-member constituencies by self-nomination created the parliamentary group For the Future, consisting of 23 MPs. Co-chairs are Viktor Bondar and Taras Batenko. According to Article 59 of the Law “On the Regulations of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine,” this group has the right of faction.
