Servant of the People faction forms coalition

This was announced by Dmytro Razumkov, the chairman of the preparatory deputy group, the lawmaker from the Servant of the People party, at the first sitting of the first session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the ninth convocation, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

The program of the Servant of the People party, the deputy faction of which formed a single parliamentary majority of 254 MPs, was presented at the sitting as the coalition agreement.

This document will become the blueprint for the program of activities of the newly created Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

According to Article 83 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a coalition of parliamentary factions in the Verkhovna Rada is formed within one month from the first sitting of the Parliament.

Snap parliamentary elections were held in Ukraine on July 21.

The Central Election Commission registered 424 people's deputies.
