Government approves regulations on State Service for Ethnopolitics

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has adopted a resolution “on approving the regulation on the State Service of Ukraine on Ethnopolitics and Freedom of Conscience and introducing amendments to the regulation on the Culture Ministry of Ukraine”.
The relevant decision was taken at a government meeting on August 21, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
The main task of the newly created State Service of Ukraine for Ethnopolitics and Freedom of Conscience is to increase the efficiency of the implementation of state policies aimed at affirming public harmony, creating conditions for the development of all ethnic and religious communities of Ukraine, observing universally recognized standards of human rights in the field of national minorities' rights and freedom.
