President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed Serhiy Borzov as head of the State Affairs Department.

The relevant decree was posted on the president’s website on Thursday, August 1.

“To appoint Serhiy Borzov as chairman of the State Affairs Department from August 1, 2019 for a period of five years with remuneration in accordance with the law,” the document says.

As reported, on June 11, President Volodymyr Zelensky dismissed Ivan Kutsyk as head of the State Affairs Department and his deputy, Yevhen Sarnatsky, and appointed Serhiy Borzov acting head of the agency.
