Zelensky appoints new head of Cherkasy Regional State Administration

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed Ihor Shevchenko as new head of Cherkasy Regional State Administration.

The relevant decree was posted on the president’s website on Wednesday, July 31.

“To appoint Ihor Shevchenko as chairman of Cherkasy Regional State Administration,” the document says.

By another decree, Zelensky dismissed Taras Vysotsky as acting head of Cherkasy Regional State Administration.

On June 24, Zelensky dismissed Oleksandr Velbivets as head of Cherkasy Regional State Administration, entrusting the performance of duties to his first deputy Taras Vysotsky.
