The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine opens 18 new visa centers in 16 countries across the world, the Consular Service Department of the Foreign Ministry reported on Facebook.

"The Foreign Ministry continues to implement a set of measures to improve the level of consular services for foreigners who wish to visit our country. The expansion of the network of visa centers continues, and it will cover 74 cities from August 2019. In addition to the existing 56 visa centers, the Foreign Ministry opens 18 new centers in 16 countries all over the world,” the report says.

In particular, new visa centers will open in Sydney (Australia), Kabul (Afghanistan), Minsk (Belarus), London (the United Kingdom), Alexandria (Egypt), Tel Aviv (Israel), Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and Chandigarh (India), as well as in the cities of Doha (Qatar), Mexico City (Mexico), The Hague (Netherlands), Wellington (New Zealand), Muscat (Oman), Ramallah (Palestine), Bangkok (Thailand), Antalya (Turkey), and Paris (France).

Visa centers receive visa applications, render assistance in filling in and registering visa application forms, as well as offer additional services upon request, including taking applicants' photos, translation and making copies of supporting documents, providing medical/travel insurance options, courier services, text messaging, premium lounge services etc.

It should be noted that visa centers provide applicants with pre-decision making services on filing visa applications to Ukraine's embassy in a country. Visa decisions upon every application are made by Ukraine's consular officers only.
