New Ukrainian parliament to start work by Sept 6

The Verkhovna Rada of the ninth convocation will start work between August 24 and September 6, the president's representative in the Cabinet of Ministers, Andriy Gerus, has said in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.

According to him, many appointments in ministries, departments and state enterprises will be made after the parliament of the new convocation starts to work.

Snap parliamentary elections were held in Ukraine on July 21.

Ukraine's Central Election Commission has already counted 100% of ballots in snap parliamentary elections.

According to these results, 43.16% of voters supported the Servant of the People party, 13.05% - Opposition Platform - For Life, 8.18% - Batkivshchyna, 8.1% - European Solidarity, and 5.82% - Holos. The remaining parties did not overcome the 5% electoral threshold.
