According to Tkachenko, this discussion continues in the party team. When aked whether this issue was discussed with the prime minister, he said it was "a matter of a political decision at the level of a coalition."
"But we will initiate this discussion," Tkachenko said.
He also stressed that he does not see himself as the head of such a united ministry, but knows good people who can take up this post.
Ukraine's Presidential Office earlier announced plans to liquidate the Information Policy Ministry and to unite the National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting with the State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting.
