President Zelensky says issue of release of Ukrainian seamen will be resolved soon

He told this to journalists at the campaign headquarters of the Servant of the People party in Kyiv on Sunday, July 21, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"I am confident that we will resolve this issue in the near future. I really want that," he said.

At the same time, he did not say when this could happen.

"We are working very hard on this issue," Zelensky said, adding that the issue of the release of seamen, political prisoners, and other prisoners of war is a priority for Ukraine.

"I spoke with the Russian president on the issue of the urgent return of sailors and the subject of all other prisoners, namely our Ukrainians who stay in Russia," he said.

According to him, at the same time, Ukraine does not leave the Minsk or Normandy formats.
