European Union appoints new head of EU Delegation to Ukraine

European Union's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini announced the appointment of 43 new heads of EU delegations to third countries in the framework of the 2019 rotation.
The representative of Estonia was nominated as head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine, according to the report on the website of the European External Action Service (EEAS).
“... Matti Maasikas has been nominated as Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine. He is currently Undersecretary for EU Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia,” the document says.
