Herasymov re-elected as deputy head of OSCE PA committee

Artur Herasymov, Chairman of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc parliamentary faction, has been re-elected as deputy head of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly’s Committee on Economic Affairs, Science, Technology and the Environment, according to the Information Department of the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada Secretariat.

"Head of the Permanent Delegation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Artur Herasymov, was re-elected as deputy head of the Parliamentary Assembly’s Committee on Economic Affairs, Science, Technology and the Environment," the report says.

On July 7, at the meeting of the Committee on Economic Affairs, Science, Technology and the Environment as part of ХХVIІІ Annual Session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly in Luxembourg, the regular election of officials of the Committee was held.

Artur Herasymov was unanimously elected for the fourth time as deputy head of the Committee on Economic Affairs, Science, Technology and the Environment.

"The election of a representative of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to this responsible post means participation of Ukraine’s representative in the work of the OSCE PA Bureau, which significantly strengthens Ukraine's position in the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly," the report says.
