Ukraine can always count on Canada's support - Trudeau

"Canada will always stand with the people of Ukraine and will continue to support its efforts to achieve greater democracy, security, and prosperity," Trudeau said at the Ukraine Reform Conference in Toronto on Tuesday, July 2.

He added that Canada and Ukraine share a deep friendship built on shared values and strong interpersonal ties.

"Today we have made another step towards deepening these ties and creating good jobs for middle-class representatives in Ukraine and Canada," Trudeau said.

Ukraine and Canada on July 2 signed the agreement on joint film production and a joint statement of the governments of Ukraine and Canada on the Youth Mobility Agreement. The first document will facilitate the creation of film products by Canadian and Ukrainian studios, and the second one is intended to step up youth exchange between Ukraine and Canada.
