European integration guarantees Ukraine’s independence – Zelensky

European integration is a guarantee of Ukraine’s independence, welfare and economic growth.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated this during a meeting with President of the European Council Donald Tusk on Wednesday, the Presidential Administration of Ukraine reported on Twitter.
“European integration is the provision of systemic internal changes in the state, the implementation of reforms and commitments stipulated by the Association Agreement with the EU. This is the guarantee of Ukraine’s independence, welfare, and accelerated economic growth,” the Presidential Administration quoted Zelensky’s words.
As reported, on June 4-5, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky makes his first international visit to Brussels.
