Lukashenko meets with Kuchma in Minsk

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has met with Ukraine's representative in the Trilateral Contact Group Leonid Kuchma, BelTA informs.
Alexander Lukashenko and Leonid Kuchma exchanged warm greetings at the beginning of the meeting, according to the report.
“Leonid Danylovych [Kuchma], you are still involved in politics. And this is good,” Lukashenko said.
Kuchma described this opinion of the Belarusian leader as a positive sign. “They [in the Presidential Administration of Ukraine] know my attitude to Belarus, they know about our good relations,” Kuchma agreed.
In turn, the Belarusian president mentioned the development of bilateral cooperation with Ukraine.
As reported, on June 3, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that the second president of Ukraine, Leonid Kuchma, would again represent Ukraine in the Trilateral Contact Group in Minsk.
