Saakashvili: I have no political ambitions

Former Georgia’s President and former Head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, Mikheil Saakashvili, has stated that the has no political ambitions.  

“I have no political ambitions, because I have already been on all positions, I’ve seen everything. I will be very careful when I agree on something. I have gone through it, I’ve seen how it looks, and I’m not eager to take any posts,” Saakashvili said on the TV channel 112 Ukraine on Tuesday evening.

As Ukrinform reported, President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree on May 28 to return the Ukrainian citizenship to former Georgian President and former Head of the Odesa Regional State Administration Mikheil Saakashvili.

Saakashvili received a Ukrainian passport in 2015. Then he was appointed to the post of chairman of the Odesa Regional State Administration. In the autumn of 2016, he resigned. And on July 26, 2017, then President Petro Poroshenko deprived Saakashvili of his Ukrainian citizenship.
