Ukraine, Lithuania to enhance cooperation in areas of mutual interest

Volodymyr Zelensky wished Gitanas Nausėda success in developing the Lithuanian state, the press service of the head of state has reported.

The president also thanked the Lithuanian party for the unwavering political support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as the assistance in strengthening the defense capability of our country.

The head of state noted the important role of Lithuania in supporting the course of European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine.

In addition, the parties confirmed mutual willingness to strengthen strategic partnership between Ukraine and Lithuania and to enhance bilateral cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.

The Ukrainian president and his Lithuanian counterpart agreed to maintain a dialogue and discussed further bilateral contacts.
