Ukraine looking forward to further cooperation with new European Parliament – Foreign Ministry

Ukraine has congratulated its partners in the European Union on the successful holding of European elections and is looking forward to continuing fruitful cooperation with the newly elected European Parliament on the issues of implementing the European course of Ukraine.

The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine issued a relevant statement on Monday, May 27.

"Ukraine is looking forward to continuing fruitful cooperation with the newly elected European Parliament on the issues of implementing the European course of our state, carrying out internal reforms, and also jointly countering Russian aggression. We are convinced that support for the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of our state will remain a constant of bilateral relations between Ukraine with the European Parliament and the European Union,¨ reads the report posted on the ministry´s website.

The Foreign Ministry has stated it will do everything possible to keep the unprecedented level of parliamentary cooperation between Ukraine and the European Union within the next five years.
