No negotiations with the Russian Federation without the participation of the Ukrainian side can be held within the Normandy format.

Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze said this, commenting on the telephone conversation of President of France Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin on the "Ukrainian issue", an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Our stance is clear enough: no negotiations on Ukraine, on Ukraine's issues, can be held without the participation of Ukraine. And I hope that this policy will be continued. President Zelensky held a telephone conversation with [German] Chancellor Merkel and I expect that consultations of diplomatic international advisors to President Zelensky, President Macron and Chancellor Merkel will be launched from today on further joint standing in the Normandy format, on the continuation of negotiations with Russia within the Normandy format. I hope that the potential risks will be mitigated in such a way," the Vice PM said.
