Suprun hopes Zelensky's team will continue health reform

She said this in an interview with Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty.

"The Ukrainian people voted for a new president. In any normal democratic country, those who now remain in the ministries must explain to the new team: what has already been done, what is changing, how will development continue? Elections in countries are taking place often, while the path chosen by the state must be constant. That is, the vector of development must not change only because some people have changed their post. The development should continue according to the program that has already been written," Suprun said.

According to her, the amendments and proposals of the Health Ministry are written in a plan, the laws and the Constitution.

"We will continue this work and explain the course of transformation. Of what I heard in the speeches, we can conclude that there is no understanding of what is happening now in the process of transforming the health system. We hope that the new team will support the course for changes for the sake of truly affordable quality medical care for every citizen and for decent working and living conditions for health care workers so that we could complete this transformation," Suprun said.
