The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine did not include in the agenda any of the bills submitted by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.

In particular, the lawmakers did not include in the agenda the draft law on amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On Public Procurement" regarding the conduct of procurement during the election process.

Only 127 MPs voted for the inclusion of the draft law in the agenda while 226 votes are required, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

This bill aims to ensure timely purchase of goods and services by the election commissions for the fulfillment of the functions entrusted to them for the preparation and holding of elections in Ukraine during the electoral process.

The Parliament also did not include in the agenda the presidential bill No. 10319 on amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On Elections of People's Deputies of Ukraine."

A total of 92 MPs voted for the inclusion of the draft law.

The bill provides for holding of parliamentary elections in Ukraine under a proportional representation with voting for the electoral lists of candidates for people's deputies of Ukraine from a party in the nationwide electoral district.

The draft law also suggested that all parties that garner at least 3% of vote should have the right to participate in the allocation of parliamentary mandates.
