Government approves resolution on implementing social security agreement with Germany

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a resolution to endorse an Understanding on implementing the Agreement between Ukraine and the Federal Republic of Germany on social security.
The document was approved at a government meeting on Wednesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
The resolution is aimed at ensuring the application of the procedure for implementing the Agreement between Ukraine and the Federal Republic of Germany on social security, in particular, the procedures for payment of financial assistance, its statistical accounting and pension payments, taking into account gained work experience in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine and Germany.
The relevant agreement with Germany was signed in Kyiv in November 2018. For its entry into force, the required domestic procedures must be implemented.
