Poroshenko greets Pendarovski on winning North Macedonia's presidential election

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has congratulated Stevo Pendarovski on his victory in the presidential elections in the Republic of North Macedonia.
In a post on Facebook, Poroshenko wrote: "I congratulate Stevo Pendarovski on convincing victory in the presidential elections in the Republic of North Macedonia. I am confident that the friendly relations between Ukraine and the Republic of North Macedonia will further deepen in the interests of the peoples of both countries.”
As reported, the presidential elections in the Republic of North Macedonia were held on Sunday, May 5. The five-year term of office of current President Gjorge Ivanov ends May 12.
