Poroshenko says he will participate in next presidential election

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has said he is planning to participate in the upcoming parliamentary and presidential elections.
He stated this while speaking to his supporters who came to the building of the Presidential Administration for the rally "Thank you, Petro" on Monday, April 22, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
"I want to emphasize that I told the whole country and the whole world yesterday that I am not leaving politics. We are getting united to ensure our common victories in the near future. Together we are going to win parliamentary elections. We will return together to Bankova Street after the next presidential election," Poroshenko said.
After these words, the crowd started shouting "In a year!" Poroshenko, in turn, replied: "Okay, in a year."
