Ukraine has changed and become stronger over past five years — Mogherini

EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini stated this at a meeting of the European Parliament's Committee on Foreign Affairs in Strasbourg on Wednesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

“It is obvious that Ukraine has changed. And today, I am sure that it has become a more powerful and stable country than it was five years ago,” Mogherini emphasized.

The EU High Representative notes that it is necessary to pay great attention to the situation in Ukraine and to keep this issue at the highest level on European and international agenda.

Mogherini says that the European Union actively cooperates with Ukraine in the field of security, countering cyber threats and disinformation, in developing human potential, infrastructure, creating jobs, fighting corruption, ensuring greater independence of the energy sector.
