Great Britain supports Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic path – Ambassador

Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Ukraine Judith Gough stated this at the Kyiv Security Forum, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

“Great Britain supports Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic path. It's the completion of this path to the Alliance that will strengthen Ukraine and its relationship with NATO,” she said.

According to Judith Gough, the UK’s Ministry of Defense supports Ukraine’s reform efforts and its final goal – NATO membership. However, the process is also important, as institutions and defense capability are strengthened, she said.

The ambassador also noted that the dialogue with such countries as Ukraine and Georgia shows that the Alliance is vital and has a clear role in determining the future.

As Ukrinform reported, the two-day Kyiv Security Forum kicked off on April 11.
