President Poroshenko declares almost 1.6 bln of income for 2018

This is stated in his e-declaration for 2018, published in the Unified State Register of Declarations.

In particular, President Poroshenko declared UAH 1.1 billion in dividends from Rothschild Trust Schweiz AG (Switzerland), UAH 400 million in dividends from Public Joint-Stock Company “Closed Non-Diversified Corporate Investment Fund “Prime Assets Capital”.

In addition, UAH 28.8 million of the president’s income is the return by the Finance Ministry of the cost from acquiring and investment revenue on domestic government loan bonds. Also, UAH 21 million was declared as interests on deposits in the International Investment Bank (IIB), UAH 0.8 million income from property alienation and UAH 336 thousand as presidential salary.

President Poroshenko also declared USD 61.214 million in Ukrainian banks and USD 427,433 in Switzerland’s Rothschild Bank. In addition, Poroshenko’s accounts in Ukrainian banks include EUR 11,492; UAH 2,370 million; GBP 8,000. He also declared USD 21,000 and UAH 60,000 in cash.

According to the declaration, Poroshenko lent UAH 4.5 million to third parties.

Also, President Poroshenko owns a residential house with an area of more than 1,330 square meters in Kozyn, Kyiv region and three land plots in the same village with a total area of about 42,000 square meters. In Kyiv, Poroshenko has three land plots with a total area of more than 12,000 square meters and two apartments - 134 and 82 square meters in size. Another president’s 68-square- meter apartment is located in Vinnytsia city.

President’s wife Maryna Poroshenko owns an 80-square-meter in Kyiv, and a land plot and a garden house in Boryspil district of Kyiv region.

President Poroshenko also declared precious paintings, furniture, lamps, electronic devices, watches, musical instruments, carpets and jewelry. In addition, he declared a 2010 Mercedes, and his wife owns a 2008 Jaguar.
