NSDC deputy secretary, representatives of U.S. embassy discuss international audit of Ukroboronprom

“During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed certain issues of conducting an international audit of the State Concern Ukroboronprom, possible changes of the Supervisory Board composition of the Concern, the issue of enhancing the level of transparency of procurement during the implementation of the state defense order, etc.,” the report says.

It is noted that the officials during the meeting stressed the importance of reforms in the defense industry of Ukraine and the need for further cooperation.

As Ukrinform reported, President Petro Poroshenko appointed Serhiy Kryvonos as Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine on March 12, 2019.

The newly appointed NSDC Deputy Secretary stated about his firm intention to combat corruption in the defense sector.
