Ukrainian interior minister, Canadian ambassador discuss training of rural police

Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov and Canadian Ambassador to Ukraine Roman Waschuk discussed the launch of the next stage of the Internal Ministry’s reform - training of rural police.

"At a meeting with Canadian Ambassador to Ukraine Roman Waschuk, we agreed to launch the next stage of the reform of the Internal Ministry of Ukraine - training of rural police officers - with the support of Canadian experts in the framework of the International Technical Assistance Program. We increase the number of training instructors twice," Avakov wrote on Twitter today.

He added that at the meeting he thanked his friends for the fruitful cooperation.
