Batkivshchyna Party deputy head, French ambassador discuss political situation in Ukraine

The deputy head of the Batkivshchyna Party, the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Human Rights, Hryhoriy Nemyria, held a meeting with French Ambassador to Ukraine Isabelle Dumont.
The parties discussed political and socio-economic situation in Ukraine, cooperation with France, as well as European aspirations of our state.
They also touched upon the situation in eastern Ukraine and the issue related to the annexation of Crimea.
In addition, the interlocutors discussed the course of the election campaign.
Ambassador Isabelle Dumont noted that the presidential election in Ukraine must be fair and transparent and meet OSCE standards.
