U.S. ambassador discusses upcoming elections with Lviv residents

U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch and representatives of the Civil Network OPORA discussed preparations for the upcoming elections.
"Ambassador Yovanovitch is pleased to be spending the day in Lviv, learning about what’s on the minds of Lviv residents as elections approach. This morning, she met with representatives of OPORA," the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine posted on Twitter on Thursday.
The embassy also notes that civil society plays a critical role in ensuring free and fair elections.
