Yelchenko meets with Ukrainian delegation at UN women activists’ summit

Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the United Nations Volodymyr Yelchenko has met with the Ukrainian delegation at the 63rd session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women to discuss steps to liberate Ukrainian hostages of the Kremlin.

The meeting was held on Tuesday, March 12, according to a statement posted on the official page of the Permanent Ukrainian Mission to UN on Twitter.

The delegation included Deputy Social Policy Minister of Ukraine Natalia Fedorovych, relatives of captured Ukrainian sailors, Natalia Mokriak and Olha Oprysko, war veteran Kateryna Pryimak, UN Representative at World Federation of Ukrainian Women's Organizations Maryna Prykhodko.

"The participants discussed ways of cooperation between the government and public sectors so that to achieve the common goal - the release of Ukrainian prisoners from Russian captivity," said Spokesperson for the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the UN Oleg Nikolenko in an exclusive comment to the Ukrinform correspondent.
