PM Groysman: Economic growth to have impact on situation in occupied territories
"The stepped-up economic growth and the improvement of living standards may have an impact on the situation in the occupied territories. And Russia, if it starts to comply with the Minsk agreements on settlement of the situation in eastern Ukraine and withdraws from Crimea, eventually may return to the ‘club of civilized countries’," Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said in an interview with the Latvian newspaper Latvijas Avīze, the Government portal reports.
He assured that the authorities highly valued every Ukrainian citizen. "We want to free them from this captivity and give them a simple opportunity to live in a democracy when one must not be afraid of speaking or thinking, the Prime Minister stressed.
