Three MPs intend to leave BPP parliamentary faction

Ukrinform
MPs Mustafa Nayyem, Svitlana Zalishchuk and Serhiy Leshchenko have stated they are leaving the Bloc of Petro Poroshenko (BPP) parliamentary faction.

The MPs posted the relevant statements on their Facebook pages.

In particular, Mustafa Nayem in a comment to his statement wrote that he considered it to be just a "formality". Zalishchuk wrote that she “sees no point in binding to this abbreviation (BPP)". Leshchenko posted the statement without any comments.

As Ukrinform reported, a representative of the President in the Verkhovna Rada, MP Iryna Lutsenko, in 2017 called on Zalishchuk, Leshchenko and Nayyem to leave the BPP faction because of their support for the actions of ex-chairman of Odesa Regional State Administration Mikheil Saakashvili. Lutsenko then reminded that appeals to those three MPs to leave the faction were made repeatedly, because their political future "was already closed."
