The level of support for Ukraine’s European and Euro-Atlantic integration among youth is much stronger than on the average in the country, which means that the strategic course of the country is defined correctly.

"It is very important that the level of support for the European and Euro-Atlantic integration among the youth is much higher than on the average in the country, which means that our formula for the future is absolutely correct. There is no alternative to our progress," President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said at the youth forum "Opinion of youth matters. Prospects of joining NATO and EU", an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

He added that the movement towards the EU and NATO is the main strategic orientation of the country, the guarantee of sovereignty, well-being, high living and security standards.

"It is very important that those, who are not poisoned with Russian propaganda, who are younger or peers of the independence, today are the driving force behind these changes," the President emphasized.

In this context, he noted that the European and Euro-Atlantic choice of young people was evidenced not only by sociological data but also by the actions of millions of young people who had participated in the Revolution of Dignity to protect the European choice and made up a significant part of volunteers and volunteer soldiers, who defend this choice on the battlefield.
