The press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reported this on the results of a meeting in the framework of the regular dialogue between the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry and the Israeli diplomatic mission.
"During the friendly conversation, a number of issues of interaction between the two sides, both in the bilateral format and within the framework of international organizations, was discussed ... The parties agreed to work on deepening interaction between the relevant authorities of Ukraine and Israel in order to ensure the interests of citizens of both countries during their travel to Israel and Ukraine," the report says.
The interlocutors stressed the utmost importance of further development of partnership between Ukraine and Israel, in particular, in order to fulfill the agreements reached during the visit of President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko to the State of Israel in January this year.
Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Sergiy Kyslytsya informed Ambassador of Israel Joel Lion that the Foreign Ministry strengthened its work on protecting the interests of Ukrainian citizens who are traveling abroad and on monitoring the situation regarding the protection of their rights.
